My initial visit to the mission was unplanned and short. Below is the main altar (and detail) in the church. The picture was taken shortly after the 10:30am Sunday Mass and before the lights illuminating the altar were dimmed. Even so, the exposure was long so a tripod or other camera support is recommended as a flash attachment simply doesn't have the power to illuminate such a large area. Only the St. Ferdinand statue is illuminated most of the time the mission is open. A flash may be used to take indoor pictures (but not during a service, please).
